Seanans Heart
In April of 2005, at six months old, Seanan had open heart surgery. In February 2015, just two months shy of his tenth year, he had open heart surgery again. Months ago, I decided to paint Seanan’s heart as I see it, perfect. The result is an anatomically correct version of a human heart done with soft pastels on sanded paper.
Big heart is looking down, watching over his little man with the perfect heart. Two hearts. One big, one perfect. Both full of love.
